In 2016 Barto had a bright idea. He was fast on the tracks pursuing his photography career and landed an invite to travel to Miami Swim Week, stay with, and document a large roster of Newmark Models all vying for their hot shot at making some quick bookings and landing some real fun.

Upon arrival to Miami and his week long accommodations in a waterfront mansion with over a dozen model roommates, he knew there was an opportunity to make something more. Barto located a batch of single use cameras and put them in the hands of himself and each of the ladies. What ensued was a flurry of frames capturing their week long escapades. Hundreds of images were taken and an impromptu pitch to Playboy landed 46 of them published on their website.

This continues to be one of Barto’s most memorable photography moments and he still has the original paycheck marked with those iconic bunny ears we all know.
